We have moved into a our brand new office in East Richmond in an open plan, collaborative environment.
Due to continuous growth and development we are on the look out for yet another experienced Business Analyst to join the Technology and Development team.
You will have that fine balance of technical ability, interpersonal skills and business process understanding. You are comfortable with pressure coming from all angles at all times and you don’t lose your cool. While the stakeholders are telling you what is important you can read between the lines, consider the commercial objectives and make decisions that are good for the business.
You understand the dynamics of working in competitive markets and have a mixture of a technical and a business background and are comfortable to move between both. You will gather business requirements and write specifications for developments and enhancements all the while consulting with the relevant parts of the business.
This is a dynamic and fast paced environment where priorities can change on a daily basis so adaptability is essential.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Business Analysis - Technology experience and expertise
- Digital experience is essntial
- Agile delivery method is essential
- Experience writing user stories
- SQL skills to a medium level is integral and XML skills are beneficial
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Commercial Experience in a similar role
- Process design
- Delivering major business solutions (including application testing and implementation)
- Mass market and energy retail experience is an advantage
